Downtown Panama City comes together once again to celebrate the birth of our Great Nation on Sunday, July 4th!
This free family-friendly event is open to the public and includes:
5 p.m. – Kick off our Salute to Freedom Festival with a delightful downtown Panama City parade! The parade route starts at 8th Street heading south on Harrison Avenue, right (west) on 4th St., ending at Oak Ave.
6 p.m. – Soak in the sounds of live music featuring Sons of Saints & Loud Planet at the new Destination Panama City Visitors Center bayside Stage at 101 W. Beach Drive.
9:30 p.m. – Set up your blanket and chairs on the Visitors Center #LovePC Lawn for the best view in town during our spectacular fireworks display sprawling across the beautiful St. Andrews Bay.

Rags to Riches Regatta

The Rags to Riches Regatta is a 40-year sailing tradition where 30A locals and visitors gather to cheer on teams as they navigate 16-foot catamarans in a race from Grayton Beach (originally known as the “rags” side of town) to Seagrove (also known as the “riches” neighborhood). Blue Mountain Bakery Block Party

35th Annual Independence Day Fireworks Show

In honor of Independence Day, the City of Destin and Compass Resorts will host the 35th Annual Independence Day Fireworks Show. The fireworks show can be seen over the East Pass and will begin at 9 p.m., Sunday, July 4th. In the event of inclement weather, the fireworks show will take place on Monday, July 5th at 9 pm.
